Accounts Apprentice

Role

In this entry-level role you’ll assist our accounts team with a wide range of day-to-day financial duties.

Mentored by the financial controller, you will learn how the accounts department supports the wider business and its pivotal role in the organisation’s financial health and management.

We’ll fully fund your Level 2 AAT qualification.


Responsibilities

To assist with the day-to-day duties within the accounts department to include:

• Processing purchase invoices
• Reconciling purchase statements
• Assisting with payment runs
• Filing
• Sage transactions
• Credit card reconciliation
• Monitoring emails
• Responding to account queries
• Processing staff expenses


Criteria

• Grade 4 / C and above in Maths and English
• Communication skills
• IT skills
• Attention to detail
• Organisation skills
• Problem solving skills
• Administrative skills
• Number skills
