Electrical Design Engineer

Role

G&H Building Services is looking to appoint an Electrical Design Engineer to help support its rapidly growing, successful team.

Responsibilities

• Strongly-focussed design involvement including schedules, site visits and surveys
• Carrying out cabling and lighting calculations
• Producing working drawings and schematics
• Liaising with Specialist subcontractors to ensure integration of their design
• Reporting to and continuous liaison with the Design Manager
• Ensuring all deadlines are met to the highest standard
• Liaison with personnel in other parts of the G&H Group

Criteria

• A minimum of 2-3 years design experience within the Building Services industry
• Ideally have design experience in a wide range of sectors
• Preferably a contracting background
• Qualified to ONC/HNC standard as a minimum in Building Services or Electrical Services Engineering
• Experience using AutoCAD and Hevacomp
• Knowledge of REVIT and Stabicad would be ideal but not essential
• Confidence to take a ‘hands on’ approach
• Excellent time management skills
• Flexible attitude to balance work loads and deadlines
• Applicants must hold a driving licence and valid CSCS card
