Electrical Site Supervisor
Role
Ideally the candidates will come from an industrial and commercial Electrical services background.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing the Electrical installation on projects across the commercial, health, education, and industrial sectors. Typically, projects are located within the local region of the head office in Leeds, although travel further afield may be required.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing HSE activities including RAMs, RAMs Assessments, Inductions, Toolbox talks, Plant inspections etc
- Ensure daily records / diary sheets are kept and maintained for future reference
- Deployment directly employed and sub-contract/specialist labour
- Maintain day to day liaison and programme of work with main contractor and other sub-contractors
- Inspect the work of direct employees & subcontractors for quality, progress, and satisfactory completion
- Measure and record progress of work
- Monitor progress of the main contractor, in order that agreed programme is met
- Manage delivery of bulk orders to achieve client programme, along with general day to day ordering
- Co-ordinate specialist subcontractors for site attendance
- Provide information for cost variation investigations when necessary
- Supervise training of Apprentices assigned to the project
- Ensure compliance of all work, whether executed by own Operatives or subcontractors, with drawings and specifications
- Arrange and supervise commissioning and testing on completion, including compliance with specifications, snagging and operational handing over as directed and final site clearance, to a high standard.
As Site Supervisor you will be responsible for the installation & Commissioning of the project to handover and ensure that our project is delivered to our client on time and within budget.
Criteria
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar position from a Contracting background is considered essential.
Required qualifications C&G Elec installation, NVQ Level 3, ECS Gold Card or equivalent. C&G 2391 Test & Inspection & BS7671:2018 Wiring regs would be considered an advantage.

- Good level of IT literacy and strong organisation skills.
- A desire to embrace training and development and progression within a business.
- SSSTS or SMSTS
- First Aid Course.
