MEP Design Co-ordinator (North)

Role

We are looking to appoint an MEP Design co-ordinator within our Building Services division to help support our established and rapidly-growing northern operations.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to Group Design Manager
• Act as a main point of contact with our client through the design process
• Aid the development of the design programme and monitor performance of designers to ensure timely completion of deliverables
• Manage the design activities in line with the programme and ensure all scope changes are captured and communicated with the Commercial team
• Monitor and report design progress on a weekly basis
• Monitor & track status of RFI’s
• M or E bias but must have sufficient general building services knowledge
• Ensuring all deadlines are met to the highest standard

• Liaison with personnel in other parts of G&H Building Services Ltd

Criteria

• A minimum of 8-10 years design experience within the Building Services industry
• Ideally have design experience in a wide range of sectors
• Qualified to HNC in Building Services Engineering
• Experience using REVIT/Navisworks is essential
• Understanding of BIM protocols that are actively used throughout the Group
• Confidence to lead and take a ‘hands on’ approach
• Excellent time management skills
• Flexible attitude to balance work loads and deadlines
• Applicants must hold a driving licence
