Time-lapse shows scale of M&E infrastructure at 7.5-acre theme park
This time-lapse video shows the construction of Eleven Arches – the largest outdoor live family show in the UK – and the scale of the mechanical and electrical (M&E) infrastructure delivered by G&H Building Services.
The Eleven Arches event is called ‘Kynren – An Epic Tale Of England’ and re-creates 2,000 years of the Britain’s history through 23 acts in just 90 minutes.
The site is the former Flatts Farm golf course in Bishop Auckland, County Durham and spans some 7.5-acres.
Having been appointed by Caddick Construction, G&H Building Services designed, installed and set to work the site wide electrical, fire hydrant and water infrastructure.
Works included high voltage cabling and the installation of two 20KV Transformers, a full low voltage infrastructure throughout the site, hot and cold water supplies, the lake hydrant system and drainage.
G&H Building Services also provided M&E to 14 ancillary buildings including the clubhouse, toilets, changing areas, refreshment kiosks, ticket office, train shed and technology suites.
