G&H Building Services has completed its work transforming Rolls Royce Aerospace’s Customer Visitor Centre by installing an array of mechanical and electrical services.
The £400,000 scheme at Rolls-Royce Derby saw G&H Building Services design, design and install heating, lighting, AV conference and office facilities, air conditioning and domestic services.
The project was part of Rolls-Royce’s work to change the building’s use from standard office space into a bespoke state-of-the-art hub for client visitors.
The focal point was a colour lighting system in the reception and meeting rooms that can be changed to reflect the corporate brand colours of Rolls-Royce’s clients when they visit the centre.
Contracts Manager at G&H Building Services, Paul Churchill, said: “This is the latest work we have carried out for Rolls-Royce and underlines its confidence in our skills, experience and exemplary service levels.
“It was a unique project. We were given a brief to create a visitor centre that really captured the imagination but one that was also in keeping with Rolls-Royce’s brand guidelines and everything it represents.
“The product quality is of the highest specification and leaves a lasting impression on visitors.
Other features included a bespoke building management system with remote features controlling the air conditioning and AV facilities.
