Local residents are invited to an open event to learn about G&H Group’s plans to transform one of the town’s most derelict mills into its new headquarters.
The redevelopment of Firlands Mill will be completed in February next year and residents are invited to the site on Saturday 15 November between 8.30am and 10am. Imagery showing how the building will look once completed will be on display. Senior members of our staff will be available to talk to residents and answer questions. The new site will be used as the G&H Group’s office headquarters and fabrication welding plant. Managing Director of G&H Group, Graham Kelly, said: “We are a local company and want to have a good relationship with residents so we’re opening the doors to our new headquarters to show people around and introduce ourselves.
“The mill has stood derelict for many years but we are bringing it back to life, transforming it from a blot on the landscape into a building that is attractive, clean, tidy, safe, secure and environmentally-friendly.
“Throughout all our work, we take into consideration local residents and the wider community so we are looking forward to seeing people on Saturday.”
