G&H Fabrication delivers £250,000 packaged boiler kiosk systems
G&H Fabrication has completed a £250,000 project designing, fabricating and installing pre-heated packaged boiler system kiosks.
They were designed and made by G&H Fabrication at its specialist 11,500 sq ft facility in Leeds.
The kiosks keep large-scale combined heat and power (CHP) units at a high temperature allowing for faster engine start-ups.
Some 46 kiosks were created in total and delivered and installed on-site at various locations nationwide.
Director of G&H Fabrication, James Sherburn, said: “We have great experience prefabricating large-scale power generation facilities and this has been the cornerstone of our success over the past few years.
“This project demonstrates our capacity in terms of size of the work delivered but also the entire process we offer clients from design and fabrication all the way through to delivery and on-site installation.
“Our specialist facility has the capacity to deliver such large prefabrication while carrying out 90% of the work off-site.
“This plays a crucial role in reducing congestion on-site and means a higher level of testing can be carried out before being delivered to site at the most suitable time.”
G&H Fabrication provides off-site prefabrication of all M&E building services equipment.
Bespoke work includes an array of fabricated pipework from simple flanged lengths to 28” stainless steel flue pieces, large skid-mounted plant rooms and components for industrial-scale energy generation facilities.
