G&H Building Services has completed its latest work on the £8 billion redevelopment of Battersea Power Station.
A range of mechanical and electrical works were carried out in the Power House as part of a £97,500 contract. A whole house heat recovery ventilation system that sucks warm moist air out of the bathrooms and kitchen and blows fresh air into all the living spaces was installed along with associated ductwork.
To accentuate the luxurious, modern living style of the residential apartments, a touchscreen comfort cooling system was fitted to all the rooms. Domestic water services and high specification sanitary ware was installed as part of G&H Building Services’ work.
Managing Director at G&H Building Services, Graham Kelly, said: “We partnered with Donban Construction in what is one of the capital’s most bespoke residential projects for many years.
“Our work focused on the end user – the residents – who expect and demand a high level of sophistication and comfort associated with such prestigious homes.
“Features such as the state-of-art ventilation and cooling systems are examples of this and our work was carried out to the highest standards we have become renowned for.”
Battersea Power Station is expected to be open to the public for the first time in over 30 years in 2019.
