Leeds and London’s Town Centre Securities appoints G&H Maintenance for three key sites
G&H Maintenance has won a three-year contract with Leeds and London based property company, Town Centre Securities, to manage the building services at three Leeds sites.
Following a successful tender, G&H Maintenance will oversee the Merrion Centre’s main shopping mall and the 11-storey Wade House office block.
The recently refurbished six-storey Town Centre House – the only building in Leeds city centre with a BREEAM Excellent rating for sustainability – will also be maintained.
The work will see pre-planned preventative and reactive maintenance of all mechanical and electrical services.
G&H Maintenance will also ensure the site is fully compliant with current regulations and issue certification of services such as natural gas, refrigeration and water hygiene.
Two resident engineers from G&H Maintenance will be situated onsite to project manage the work.

“The Merrion Centre is more popular than ever, playing a major role in the Arena Quarter which is now one of Leeds’ busiest leisure and work destinations and the home of many new brands including the ibis Styles Hotel and adjoining Marco’s New York Italian restaurant and bar.
“Town Centre Securities has been at the forefront of this transformation and we look forward to working with them moving forward.
“It is vital all building services such as power, heating and cooling, lighting, safety systems and access controls work at their most efficient best and are fully functional at all times.
“A strategic maintenance regime will allow us to do this in a measured and cost effective way.”
