Approved Electrician

Role

This is a full-time on-site role for an experienced Approved Electrician to join our Electrical team on a permanent basis, to work on commercial offices and education facilities, be able to demonstrate at extensive knowledge, demonstrate the ability to work unsupervised, interpret drawings and be able to liaise with other site personnel and clients to deliver a project from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Providing a high-quality electrical installation service to our clients, at 1st & 2nd fix stages, ensuring all installation work is carried out to current regulations and to high quality standards
• Managing projects on site whilst being hands-on
• Working from architect’s drawings
• Working alongside other trades on site
• Electrical testing of your own work
• Fault-finding and resolving any electrical issues
• Remedial work to bring electrical installations up to current regulations.

Criteria

• Experienced approved electrician, experienced in commercial installations
• Experience in managing projects and liaising with team members
• 18th Edition
• 2391 Test & Inspection
• Familiarity with working to NICEIC requirements.
